About

Software for the businesses software usually skips

Ordder.io is built in India, for Indian businesses, by MahiSys (OPC) Private Limited. It exists because the tools sold to a 200-person sales team do not fit a five-person one — and because the five-person one loses orders for reasons that are entirely fixable.

Why this, and not another CRM

Walk into almost any Indian trading, manufacturing or dealership business and the sales pipeline is a WhatsApp scroll. The rate list is an Excel file one person maintains. The owner personally approves every quote. None of that is incompetence — it is what works, until volume makes it stop working.

The standard answer is a CRM: a place to record what you did after you did it. That solves reporting, not the actual problem. The order was lost while the enquiry sat waiting for the one person who knew the rate, and no amount of pipeline hygiene recovers it.

So Ordder does the work instead of recording it. It reads the enquiry, asks what it needs, quotes from the rate list that already exists, and raises the invoice. The reporting falls out of that as a side effect, which is the right way round.

One of our clients put it better than our own marketing did: it is focused on what actually happens between an enquiry and a confirmed order.

Decisions

What we deliberately did not build

These were the arguments, and how they went.

No app for your buyer

The obvious product is a portal where buyers log in to request quotes. Nobody would use it. Your buyer already has WhatsApp open, and the only adoption plan that works is asking them to change nothing.

No AI-generated prices

A language model could guess a rate from context, and it would be right often enough to be dangerous. Prices come from your catalogue and fixed arithmetic. The AI decides what is being asked for, never what it costs.

No middleman on your WhatsApp

It would have been faster to resell somebody else’s messaging platform. It also would have put a third party between you and your own customer, with their number on your quotes. We went direct to Meta instead, so the number is yours.

No silent failures

The easy engineering choice is to swallow an error and move on. We have been bitten by exactly that — a delivery bug where messages arrived and replies never left, invisible for a week. Everything that can fail now says so, in the app, with the reason.

No fake social proof

You will not find a wall of stock-photo testimonials here. The four quotes on this site are from real businesses who agreed to be named. When there are forty, there will be forty.

India first, not India also

GST slabs, paise-accurate money, lakh formatting, delivery by pincode, and the units the trade actually uses. Not a US product with a currency symbol swapped.

Your data stays yours

Hosted in Mumbai. Isolated per client by the database itself. Export it or delete it whenever you like, without asking us for permission.

The AI hands over

Autonomy that cannot admit uncertainty is not autonomy, it is a liability. Knowing when to fetch a human is a feature we spent real time on.

We’d rather you tested it than believed us

Start free, upload your rate list, and send it something real. If you want to talk to a person first, that is fine too.
